Nirali and Bhuppi are newlyweds and they are expecting their first little one in November. I already know these two are going to be amazing parents because they are some of the kindest people I’ve met! During their session they were as happy as can be, and it was such a joyous occasion. I loved getting to meet them both and take their maternity photos at Lake Fairfax Park in Reston. They are clearly so excited for their sweet baby to arrive.
For maternity photos, I recommend we book your maternity session around 28-36 weeks. Nirali for this session was at 35 weeks. This is a good time frame where you’re not too close to the delivery date and have a comfortable bump for photos. For expecting mamas, I recommend wearing a long dress for these photos. It is always super flattering, and gorgeous for portraits!
I have lots of favorite locations in the Northern Virginia area. Lake Fairfax Park in Reston is one of my favorite locations for portrait sessions! My clients frequently choose to hold their session here. I loved the dreamy garden vibe of our session here, especially with Nirali’s simple but beautiful green dress. She looked stunning in it, and the green popped off of the golden fall background.
This beautiful Park in Reston, Virginia had so many spots for portraits. There was beautiful fall scenery by the serene Lake and I loved getting to take photos of these two peeking with their new additional to family, their BMW. Some of my favorite photos of their session were taken down toward the pond where we get creative with fabric long flow. There is a walk by the lake that was the perfect place to frame a beautiful portrait of them adoring their sweet baby.
